18” hornloaded ground stacking subwoofer / 1.000W (RMS)
The E18SUB is a horn-loaded 18" subwoofer, that can be combined with all ELITE speaker models. The high power handling and very high SPL of 135 dB ensure precise sound pressure and an extended frequency range down to 35 Hz. The integrated stacking fittings match with the EL10 and EL15 line array modules and with the EH15 horn module. The optional ESA1 stacking frame enables the use of the E18 SUB in combination with the ELC26 line array module. In flown and in stacked operation: The locking pins ensure a safe mechanical connection of all components.

EHORN | Hornloaded Core-Technology.
Line array systems are usually a combination of different technologies. The mid/high frequency range is covered by standard array cabinets. This enables high reach. But subwoofers are mostly based on direct reflecting or similar technologies. This results in different maximum reach and SPL between mid/high and sub/low frequency range. The solution for the same maximum reach along the whole frequency range: The ELITE family is completely based on NOVAs „EHORN“ technology. All models including subwoofers are fully horn-loaded.
ELITE systems offer the same SPL along the whole relevant frequency range from 20 - 20.000 Hz.
The result is an equable increase of reach.
